I’m a filmmaker who happened upon the story of the OccupyWallStreet march on the Brooklyn Bridge, looked for some news coverage and found next to none. So I headed down to OccupyLA to speak with the protestors, learn more about the Occupy movement and, in my small way, help to spread the word. Seems to me, the worst thing that can happen to this movement is for it to be politicized and commandeered to serve a political agenda. The point of these videos is to focus on the individuals who are fueling the movement, as a reminder that this isn’t about talking points, it’s about people discovering solutions through dialogue and shared concerns.

One of the great things about hanging out at the OccupyLA demonstration is that I’ve gotten to meet some really cool, interesting and thoughtful people. This is where I’ll be sharing them with you. Check back often, because I’ll be adding to this playlist regularly.
